IT services in Minnesota
Managed IT for Minnesota businesses.
Minnesota businesses are on the cloud plan: the Twin Cities, Rochester, Duluth and St. Cloud, supported remotely from Wisconsin by the same technicians, with hardware configured in our shop and shipped ready to plug in. Onboarding is the same written thirty-day sequence; it just happens over a screen share instead of across a desk.
Minnesota's economy looks like ours with more medical devices in it: precision manufacturing, financial services, insurance, agriculture-adjacent businesses and a large nonprofit sector. The compliance questions are familiar, and Minnesota added a consumer privacy law in 2025 that changes the paperwork for the larger businesses we support.

Minnesota industries we know
Manufacturing and machining
ERP on the shop floor, CAD workstations, and machines that talk to a network from 2009.
Financial services and advisors
SEC and FINRA record-keeping, AI policy, and a client base that expects discretion.
Independent insurance agencies
Agency management systems, carrier portals and E&O exposure when data goes missing.
Churches, schools and nonprofits
Volunteers on personal devices, donor data, and budgets that make every purchase count.
Trucking and transportation
Dispatch and ELD systems that cannot go down at 5 a.m., and drivers on cheap tablets.
Minnesota data and breach laws your IT has to satisfy
The Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act took effect on July 31, 2025. It applies to businesses that process personal data of 100,000 or more Minnesota consumers, or 25,000 with a quarter of revenue from selling data, so most small businesses are below its threshold, but it also requires a documented data inventory and privacy program for those it covers. Minnesota's breach notification statute applies to everyone. Either way the practical controls are the same ones insurers ask about, and we build them and keep the evidence.

The second-host story Small businessSunk cost is real. A backup server you bought last year deserves a plan before it goes in a dumpster because a move made it convenient.
Server or cloud, honestlyHow the cloud plan works in Minnesota
Onboarding follows the same written sixty-day plan as every client: transition prep and hardware ordering thirty days out, discovery and software twenty days out, hardware installed a week before day zero, a kick-off, and a check-in at sixty days. Support is by phone and email to a technician, not a queue. Hardware is configured and tested in our Wisconsin shop and shipped ready to plug in, with a technician on the phone when it arrives. Project visits are quoted case by case.
Questions from Minnesota businesses
Can a Wisconsin IT company really support us in Minneapolis?
Yes. The cloud plan was designed for exactly this: remote helpdesk, monitoring, Microsoft 365, backup and security, with hardware shipped configured. Several of our clients are in other states.
