Why Midwest IT
What is actually different, in your terms.
Every IT proposal you receive will list the same things: managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, responsive support, strategic guidance, proactive service. Ours does too. So here are the six questions you should be able to answer about any provider before you sign, answered about us, with the proof beside each one.
Buying a business? Ask the IT questions before the letter of intent. Every unlicensed seat and untested backup is a cost you inherit.

Client, 2024 surveyMore from the survey wallWhy we are relevant to you
We work for businesses of 10 to 250 people that need their computers, network and data to just work, and want to know by name the person who fixes them when they do not. You want trusted relationships that span decades, not a new technician every six months. The first question we ask is how we can help you make more money with technology, whether through protection or production in your business. A stable partner with decades of experience will usually have the best answer to that question.
What we solve better than the alternatives
Anyone can fix the printer. We fix the reason it keeps breaking. Our technicians close the ticket and then ask whether it should have happened at all; repeats go to an engineer who removes the cause. Over time you get fewer tickets, staff who do not dread calling, and IT that shows up as an operational strength instead of a cost line. The evidence is a 20 to 25 minute average response and 995 of every 1,000 surveyed tickets ending with a happy client.
What happens if you leave it alone
A backup that has never been restored, found out on the day it matters. A cyber insurance application answered wrong, and a claim denied. A move where the internet arrives three weeks after the desks. A vendor who says the ERP is fine on a desktop PC until the desktop dies. And now attacks that are faster and cheaper to build than a year ago, aimed at businesses exactly your size. None of it is dramatic until it is.
Why our approach is meaningfully different
The team does not change: two service employees have left in 21 years, so you plan once and execute with the people who wrote the plan. Your account manager learns how you make money before recommending anything, and holds your other vendors to their promises in writing. Security tools are chosen for the gaps they close, after we have vetted the vendor's certifications, hiring and ownership, and a dedicated team stays ahead of the threats rather than reacting to them. Every recommendation is thorough enough to land on time, on budget and on target.
What proof we have that it works
99.5% of surveyed tickets rated positive, and 1,268 responses in 2026 so far. Seventy-eight verbatim survey comments on this site with names where permitted. Eight people with a combined 100-plus years here. Eighteen stories of real projects. A scorecard of response time, happiness, projects on time and on budget, and protection audits that we put in front of every client at every review. And a long list of clients in your industry who will tell you what twenty years with us has been like, so you are not relying on our word.
Why changing providers is worth the disruption
Because switching is a written sixty-day process, each step a ticket you can see, with nothing switched off until its replacement is working. If your current provider will not cooperate, we recover access without them and you do not referee. And what you get on the other side is the point of this page: the same team next year, a partner who knows your business, numbers instead of adjectives.
The hard question
Could you explain to your partner why we are worth it?
If this page has not answered that, call and ask us the questions it missed. A partner will answer them straight, and tell you if we are not the right fit.

Ask us the hard questions.
Tell us what is going on. A partner will call you back the same business day and answer in your terms, not ours.
