Plans and switching
What is actually different about Midwest IT?
The same experienced team from the first conversation onward, two service employees lost in 21 years, an account manager who learns how you make money, security tools chosen for their gaps rather than their price, and numbers we show you instead of adjectives.

Everyone says the same six things
Managed IT. Cybersecurity. Microsoft 365. Responsive support. Strategic guidance. Proactive service. Every proposal you receive will list them, including ours, and once they all match the only question left is the price. So here is what is different in terms that matter to you, with the proof beside each one.
The people do not change
Two service employees have left in 21 years. Your account manager, your engineer and the technician who knows your setup are the same people next year and the year after. You build a plan for your technology once and execute it with the team that wrote it, instead of re-explaining your business to whoever a bigger provider assigned this quarter.
We work on why it broke, not just that it broke
A technician closes the ticket and then asks whether it should have happened. Repeats go to an engineer, who fixes the cause. The result is fewer tickets over time, staff who do not dread calling, and IT that reads as an operational strength on your books rather than a cost line.
Protection is chosen, not bought
Every security product has a gap. We vet the vendor, know the gap, and pick the next tool so it covers it. There is a team here whose job is to stay ahead of the threats, not read about them afterwards.
Your account manager knows how you get paid
Recommendations line up with what you care about because the person making them knows your business, your margin and your plans. They also hold your other vendors to their promises, in writing.
Numbers instead of adjectives
Average response time of 20 to 25 minutes. 99.5% of surveyed tickets rated positive. Projects tracked against the date and number we quoted. Tested restores logged. Clients in your industry who will take your call. The full version is one page.
Where we did this
Order the internet circuit the week the lease is signed. Carriers take six to twelve weeks. Nothing else on a move fails as often.
The relocation checklist Did you knowA backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a plan. Ask for the date of the last tested restore.

What is the difference between the onsite plan and the cloud plan?
The cloud plan is helpdesk, monitoring, Microsoft 365, backup and security delivered to you without an on-premises server. It suits smaller businesses that need flexibility or work remotely. The onsite plan adds scheduled visits, emergency onsite response, and hardware we configure in our shop before it ships. Same people, same promises; the difference is the drive.
The full answerIs account management extra?
No. Every client has a named account manager and scheduled reviews as part of the plan. It is the part of the service that keeps the rest from becoming firefighting.
The full answerHow long does onboarding take?
Sixty days from signed contract to the onboarding check-in, on a written timeline. Hardware is built in our shop before it ships, discovery happens twenty days out, and your staff meet the helpdesk by name on day one.

- Every closed ticket is surveyed and a partner reads every response.
- 99.5% of surveys come back positive.
- Family-owned since 2005. 21 years in the same corner of Wisconsin, not going anywhere.
"Another great job by Midwest IT. Our company just loves your fast response to our issues."

Tell us what is going on. A partner will call you back the same business day, look at what you have, and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. No pricing pressure, no pitch deck.
