Plans and switching
Will there be downtime?
Setup happens on days you choose. The tools we install run alongside what is there; nothing is switched off until its replacement is working.

Offshore helpdesks subcontract the hands-on work to someone who has never seen your network. Every piece of gear we install is built and installed by a Midwest IT employee.
Local or offshore, honestly Gold Star survey"Mike is ALWAYS super helpful and quick to respond."

Our monitoring, backup and security tools install alongside whatever is already there. They run together until ours is proven, and only then is the old one removed. Nothing is turned off on faith.
Your calendar, not ours
Installs happen on days you choose, usually in the quiet parts of the day or after hours. Month-end for an accounting office, harvest for a co-op, a weekend for a hotel. The discovery meeting is where those dates get picked.
What your staff notice
A new number on the sticker. A technician who introduces themselves. A short survey on their first closed ticket. Most people do not notice the switch until they realise the printer has stopped being a problem.
When downtime is unavoidable
A server replacement or a domain migration can need a window. When that is true we say so up front, schedule it for the least painful hour, rehearse it, and have a rollback ready. A surprise outage during onboarding is a failure we plan against.
Where we did this
Every new client goes through the same sixty-day onboarding, each step its own ticket, most of it before the contract starts. Nobody wings it.

What is the difference between the onsite plan and the cloud plan?
The cloud plan is helpdesk, monitoring, Microsoft 365, backup and security delivered to you without an on-premises server. It suits smaller businesses that need flexibility or work remotely. The onsite plan adds scheduled visits, emergency onsite response, and hardware we configure in our shop before it ships. Same people, same promises; the difference is the drive.
The full answerIs account management extra?
No. Every client has a named account manager and scheduled reviews as part of the plan. It is the part of the service that keeps the rest from becoming firefighting.
The full answerHow long does onboarding take?
Sixty days from signed contract to the onboarding check-in, on a written timeline. Hardware is built in our shop before it ships, discovery happens twenty days out, and your staff meet the helpdesk by name on day one.

"Another great job by Midwest IT. Our company just loves your fast response to our issues."

Ask for the timeline and the list of what happens on which day.

Tell us what is going on. A partner will call you back the same business day, look at what you have, and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. No pricing pressure, no pitch deck.
