IT for construction and trades
Estimating software in the office, tablets in the field, and a server nobody wants to babysit. We have supported businesses like yours since 2005, and we know where the trouble starts.
What breaks, and when
Estimating and project management software lives in the office; the people who need it are on a job site with a tablet on a hotspot. Remote access that was set up once and never revisited is the most common thing we replace.
Field devices get dropped, rained on and shared. Without device management, a lost tablet is a lost set of plans and a live login to the job software.
New buildings and yards. Contractors move and expand more than almost anyone, and Wi-Fi across a yard or between buildings is a design problem, not a trip to the electronics store.
Vendor-installed software. Estimating, takeoff and accounting vendors install what they sell and leave the rest. Someone has to own the space between them.
What we do differently
We serve concrete, insulation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, solar, environmental and general contractors, plus the architects and engineers who design for them. We have planned wireless links between buildings before the drywall went up, and we configure gear in our shop so a new yard is working the day the crew arrives.
Our own project management is the thing clients remember: one coordinator for the carrier, the electrician and the cabling contractor, so the office manager is not translating between vendors.
When a vendor installs software on your network, we are on the call. One HVAC client's vendor remarked on how easy an install went because our engineer already knew where everything needed to go.

What clients in construction and trades say
"Mike C. was spot on. Needed assistance setting up a software license with a third-party vendor. Mike was on time for the pre-arranged meeting and completed the install with no issues. After the install the vendor commented on how easy it went. Mike knew where everything needed to go and facilitated his end without flaw."

The relocation checklist Did you knowA backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a plan. Ask for the date of the last tested restore.
What to actually testCompliance, insurance and audits
General contractors and their subs increasingly have to satisfy owner and insurer requirements: cyber coverage, secure handling of plans and bid documents, and for public and federal work, controls that look a lot like the government's cybersecurity frameworks. Certified payroll, safety records and equipment maintenance logs all live in software that has to be backed up and available. We set that up so the paperwork is there when the auditor or the owner asks.
Your first sixty days with us
Replace the old remote access with managed devices that reach the office software from any job site.
Survey the shop, yard and any second building for wireless coverage and fix the dead spots.
Confirm the estimating and accounting systems are backed up and test a restore.
Software we already know
Not on the list? Ask. We have probably seen it.
Stories from this kind of work

The cross-town move, on time and under budget
Multiple vendors, one coordinator, and a move-in day where the phones rang at the right address.

Getting ahead of a vendor forcing everyone off premises
The project accounting vendor set a deadline. We set a better one.
Read the storyQuestions we get asked
Can our crews get to plans from the job site?
Yes, securely, from managed tablets or phones, without a VPN that drops every time the hotspot blinks.
We are building a new shop. When do we need you?
Before the electrical drawings are final. Rack location, conduit and drop counts are cheap on paper and expensive after the slab.
Our estimating vendor handles our software. Why do we need you?
They handle their software. Somebody has to handle the network it runs on, the backup it depends on, and the devices that reach it. That is us, and we work with your vendor rather than around them.

Tell us what is going on. A partner will call you back the same business day, look at what you have, and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. No pricing pressure, no pitch deck.
